"As designers, we love to trigger senses, and feed emotions to create meaningful experiences for people when they interact with products, services and brands. At SLAPS we are on a mission to take this power to the next level, from triggering emotions, to triggering desire – the overwhelming urge, or anticipation of something meaningful happening." 

When we start with such a mantra, we almost curse ourselves with the development of our own brand. Like a barber cutting their own hair. How do we develop the ultimate brand, that evokes desire as its essence?

The development of our visual language is part of our daily tasks at SLAPS. We will continuously construct our own aesthetic, that visually adapts and matures as we grow the brand. Our starting point in this was to evoke the sensation of desire, with a visual language that encompasses all the senses. From day 01 we have kept a visual diary, documenting our progress and thinking every single stage of our journey @SLAPSstudio on Instagram, posting once a day, everyday. 

Our research allows experimentation, oddities and even uglyness. We go through phases and obsessions, from plastic inflatables to post-perfection design. 

We are bold and brave. Never afraid to be different.
